Claudia here, you may or may not remember me, but I was in the Mom’s club with you and have now adopted two daughters Marjorie and Amelia. Marjorie from England and Amelia from foster care.

I’ve been keeping in touch about your adoption plans through Nora…who I guess keeps in touch with Britta! I’m really excited to get to see your adoption journey in black and white on your blog. Sounds like you will get your baby boy really, really soon!!!! It always seems like a long wait before the referral comes…but it always comes just in time…Gods time!!! I have dozens of friends who have adopted children from all over the world…each story is different.

The first day I met you, you said you had always thought about adopting…something EVERYONE says to an adoptive parent (You’ll see.), and I just nodded like I always do. So I think it is especially cool that you really are!!! It makes me glad our conversations weren’t all just talk. You will soon learn first hand the miracle of adoption as well as having the miracle of two births to reflect on. You are a very lucky person…to be able to build your family both ways.

I would love to see the picture you have of your future son…I’m sure you have spent hours staring at him…wondering…wishing…praying. Can’t wait till you get to hold him and kiss him and for him to feel all that love!!!!!

    I’m so excited for you!!!!!

  2. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say you’ve done a very good job with this. Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog!
